Attendance that keeps working without internet

Basements, sites, lifts and rural roads do not always have signal. Dawmly's mobile app keeps working: a clock-in made offline is saved on the phone and sent to the server when the connection returns. Offline mode is on by default on every plan, including Free.

What queues while offline

Attendance clock-in and clock-out, visit actions and leave requests are written to a local outbox on the phone. When the phone is back online the app replays them in order.

What you can still read

The app keeps a cached copy of the schedule, visits, leave balances and salary data, so an employee can still look things up without a connection.

Honest about timing

An offline punch is saved on the device, not on the server, until the phone reconnects and syncs. Nothing is lost if the app is closed in between — it stays in the outbox.

Control per module

The app's sync settings screen has a toggle for each module, so a company or employee can choose what syncs.

Follows your plan

Offline mode itself has no plan gate, but what can queue follows each plan: a Free account queues attendance punches, leave requests need Starter, and visits need Growth. See pricing.

Works with selfie verification

If your company requires a selfie, a punch queued offline is still accepted, because the photo cannot be uploaded without a connection.
